Grant’s Parasailing Adventure

Teresa (of all people) suggests we check out the parasailing.

Grant wants to go up!  Georgia wants to stay down!!!

We talk it over and decide that I will go up the mountain with Grant and watch the take-off.  Teresa and Georgia will go to the landing zone at the bottom of the mountain and watch the landing.  Grant and I go to the top of the mountain by gondola.  However the winds were very poor.  Our pilot Brad did not feel the conditions were good enough to take off.  However, two pilots did.  The first one fell down and the passenger crashed into the ground.  After dragging for a while, they got up and barely cleared the trees!  We found out later that the passenger fractured her knee and tore her meniscus L   The second pilot crashed into ground on take off with his passenger and did not get off.  Boy was he embarrassed!!  Brad wisely cancelled the flight.

There were not any slots open the next day to fly but Teresa was able to convince Brad to find time for Grant!  The next day the conditions were absolutely perfect and Grant launched off the mountain!
