Midland ZAT

We went to Midland for the ZAT. After it was over, we went to the Big Sky drive in movie. We opened up the minivan hatch, set out some lawn chairs and watched the Pink Panther 2.

President George W. Bush was raised in Midland and we went to his old house which is a monument now. Grant climbed on the sign and just as I took this picture, some guy (I think it was Secret Service) came running out and kicked Grant off the sign.

Our kids play on the old Bush family dog house in the back yard. In 1956, we see “Dubya” in the doghouse (how prophetic is that!) Behind, little brother Jeb is playing trying to decide if he wants to replace his brother in the doghouse.

I don’t know about you, but I am hoping he stays out of the doghouse!!!
