Trip to Marfa and
Spring Break 2010

In 1955, the movie “Giant” was filmed in Marfa. We stayed in the room Rock Hudson stayed in.
The best thing about this room was the great
patio. It was big enough for Grant to
practice on his skateboard.
We lit up the fires and relaxed.
We went out to see the famous Marfa lights and then
came back and made Smores!
The next day we drove to
Grant decided to take a dip in the pool.
By the way, the water is 39 degrees. That’s not a problem, is it?
Guess not!
We relaxed in the hammock.
We watched Tuxedo the Cat sleep.
