Stevens Family Trip to Orlando

July 2-6, 2017

There is always as great story when Georgia is around!

Georgia was boarding when she struck up a conversation with the co-pilot. She told him that Grant was going to Embry Riddle University for a campus visit. Next thing you know, Grant is whisked into the cockpit for a tour.

The next day we drove to Dayton for Grant’s VIP tour.

We did the Private VIP tour!

13 years ago, we were worried about the dreaded height measure stick. Not anymore!

We had a private breakfast buffet at Café LaBamba

Off to Diagon Alley!

Our personal guide, Sean, showed us around Harry Potter World and we got a delicious frozen Butterbeer.

With the surly Gringotts chief Goblin

We went to the Ollivander magic wand show. Georgia was selected out of the audience and Mr. Ollivander personally chose the perfect magic wand for Georgia.

Georgia took the wand to Diagon Alley and Sean showed her the secrets of the wand.

Grant got in on the magic too.

Grant used the Imperious Curse to make the skeleton dab!

Grant was declared an Infidel and kicked out of the garden!

The BEST part of the tour was that we got to go immediately to the FRONT of the line, sit in the front seat every time, and ride it over and over!!

These lines were 1-2 hours long and we had zero wait time! This was really great.

All my Spec Ops training did not help me kill the aliens. Teresa won with 268,000 points.

We took the Hogwarts express to Hogwarts Castle

And got our personal cabin safe from the dementors

The day was perfect! We had a private buffet lunch and preferred seating at Mythos for dinner

We went back to the Ritz Carlton completely exhausted. They set up the fireworks display right in front of our balcony.

Volcano Bay

They next day we dragged ourselves to the new Universal water park, Volcano Bay.

We got a Family Cabana!

IT WAS THE PERFECT VACATION!!!
