Trip to Austin with Landry

The first thing they wanted to do was to sneak on the football field again. It was a lot easier this time.

We hit the campus. We went inside the tower and began to explore the offices.

We escaped, but Landry forgot his socks and had to go back in to get them since they cost $12.

They discovered the turtles in the Biology pond!

It turned out that this was the weekend for the annual 40 acres fun fest.

They had euro bungee jumping. Both boys did double back flips.

The crowd was in awe.

They had rock climbing. Grant got to the top. All those climbing lessons paid off!

The guy on the left was a reporter for the Daily Texas. He took their names and said they might be in the next paper.

They weren’t

They made friends with the Young Conservatives of UT.

They got excited and started screaming “OBAMA SUCKS!!!!!!!”

The Mexican American Culture Committee gave the boys some water bottles.

The South Korean Students were selling fried oreos

Landry loved them. They were insanely delicious so we bought them out.

Did a little boxing

The Harry Potter Society was sorting the kids into houses but instead of the sorting hat, they had a sorting beanbag throw.

Landry tried to guide Grant to Griffindor but both boys ended up in Slytherin.

We walked on the Drag

We went to Toy Joy and got some Handerpants.

Then we drove to the 360 Bridge. Don’t fall off the ….

…Ledge!! Too late.
