Grant wins the wrestling tournament !

We signed Grant up for wrestling with the Bailey middle school wrestling club. He went to two practices and seemed to take to it well. The coach said we should enter him in the pre-holiday tournament just for fun. We were worried because Grant had no experience and wrestlers from all over Central Texas were coming.

There were three boys in the 40 pound division. He wrestled a boy from San Antonio and beat him 7 – 4. In the final match, Grant totally dominated and was ahead 10 -3 in the second period when the other boy gave up and ran away crying.

Grant was declared champion and given the 1^st place medal.
